Southwest monsoon advances to the Andaman Sea

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) announced on Tuesday (May 13, 2025) that the southwest monsoon has advanced into some parts of the south Bay of Bengal, the south Andaman Sea, Nicobar Islands, and parts of the north Andaman Sea.
